  9. Snooze Alarm is a simple application that is almost completely useless.

  11. What does it do?
  12.  
  13. Writing a Mac hack takes incredible amount of intelligence and stamina. Sadly, the weaker among the Mac hackers will randomly loose conscience due to lack of sleep.

  15. Slowly, the hacker's neck muscles will loosen and the head tilts forward. Finally, unceremoniously, the hacker's head will plop onto his PowerBook's keyboard. Thud.

  17. This used to result in an unnatural state for the hacker: sleep.

  19. This application monitors the keyboard for random head contact events. Upon contact, Snooze Alarm will fire a buzzer, scream and reproduce the sound of a automobile accident. It will continue sounding the alarms until the head is removed.

  21. Hopefully the alarms will halt the sleep process, allowing the hacker to resume coding.
